As stated earlier, to be handed a business opportunity and then expected to figure out things on your own without much technical assistance and little or no encouragement is probably the number one reason so many of these NWM type businesses fail. I have been told that approx. 85% of the prospects you approach will say no. Of the 15% that say yes, approximately 85% do nothing or just up and quit. Those are industry states and not stats from the company I’m with. So the question that begs to be asked, why the huge fall out.

My answer would be that it’s mainly due to two reasons:

1.   The new enrollee had been pressured to buy in and did so because they ran out of excuses not to do so.

2.   If they had a desire to make it work, were not given enough support and encouragement to make it work.

If you deal with these two reasons right up front, drop outs can be dramatically decreased and turned into productive and happy affiliates.
